The statistics say it all: up to 60 metres underground, and with a total length of 6.6 km and pressures of up to 6.5 bars. Two Herrenknecht TBMs drove under the Westerschelde River to create a road tunnel linking Zuid-Beveland and Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen in the Dutch province of Zeeland.
